Mohit has over 21 years of experience, including 16 years in banking and 5 years as an entrepreneur.
He is a Co-Founder and Executive Director of Unaprime Investment Advisors, the Indian member firm of Cognos.
Experience
Mohit has worked with HSBC, GE Capital, Motilal Oswal Investment Banking, and Investec India, where he was part of the team that set up the investment banking business for Investec India.
During his stint at Investec and Motilal Oswal, Mohit successfully advised on multiple transactions in the infrastructure and e-commerce sectors, raising equity and structured credit across public and private markets.
During his days at GE Capital, Mohit funded several structured credit transactions including sponsor leverage for some of India’s largest corporates.
Mohit joined HSBC after receiving a pre-placement offer during his summer internship and worked in marketing and small and medium enterprises business banking.
Mohit spent 5 years as an entrepreneur, setting up a daycare business with a presence in Mumbai and Thane and winning contracts from large MNC and Indian corporates.
Education
Mohit is an alumnus of IIM Lucknow, Shriram Ram College of Commerce, and The Doon School.
Life drives and passions
