Thanks to Unaprime Investment Advisors, the Indian member firm of Cognos, Brand Capital invests in Tork Motors, India’s leading EV motorcycle manufacturer

Brand Capital welcomes Tork Motors, makers of “India’s Pioneering Electric Motorcycle” to its portfolio. Tork is a startup based in Pune and founded in 2016 by Kapil Shelke a mechanical engineer who leveraged his passion for racing into building the brand and has filed over 50 patents.

Brand Capital prides itself in creating categories that help consumers discover brands like Tork Motors which empowers the riders to achieve an impressive 150+ km on a single charge in urban setting thanks to ECO+ mode, their innovative addition to its flagship model KRATOS R

The manufacturing facility has been built by Kalyani Powertrain Limited, Tork’s majority shareholder; and Tork is also backed by marquee angel investors like Ratan Tata and Bhavish Aggarwal (Ola).
