Rodon International

Rodon International

Rodon International, a wholesaler of machine parts for the food processing industry, has been acquired by F.M.M. Group. The transaction brings in a new shareholder and marks the next step in the company’s further development.

International specialist in parts for poultry processing

Rodon International has been supplying parts for machinery used in the poultry processing industry since 1993. Under the leadership of owner Roderick Keur, the company developed into a specialised player within this niche market. From its base in Hillegom, Rodon International serves customers in more than 60 countries worldwide.

Its product range includes parts for conveyor systems, plucking machines, container systems and other machinery used in poultry processing. Rodon International also distinguishes itself through the development of proprietary parts based on specific market and customer needs. For selected product categories, the company has its own moulds and assembly capabilities.

The combination of product expertise, reliable delivery, short communication lines and international experience has made Rodon International a valued partner for customers in the Netherlands and abroad.

A new shareholder for the next phase

After more than thirty years as an entrepreneur, Roderick Keur felt the time was right to bring Rodon International under new ownership. During the process, interest was received from both domestic and international parties.

A key consideration in selecting the eventual buyer was that Rodon International could continue operating from its existing base, while retaining the current management team in charge of day-to-day operations. Roderick will remain involved with the company during the coming period to support a smooth and careful transition.

Advisory throughout the sale process

Match Plan advised Roderick Keur throughout the entire sale process. This included sale preparation, market outreach, negotiations, coordination of the due diligence process, and coordination of the legal and financial documentation.

Rodon International is a strong example of a company that, through many years of entrepreneurship, has developed into a reliable player in a specialised market. Its strength lies in the combination of speed, product expertise, international relationships and the ability to translate customer needs into practical parts and solutions. We are pleased to have advised Roderick on this important step and to have found a suitable new shareholder for the company’s next phase Jos Schippers, Manager M&A at Cognos Netherlands
