Temaco

Cognos France / Societex, the exclusive adviser on the transaction, announces the completion of the sale of Temaco, a French company specialising in the distribution of food containers, to Fidel Fillaud (Next Pack Group).

Founded 85 years ago and based in Donzenac (Corrèze), Temaco distributes more than 3,000 different types of food packaging made from glass, plastic and metal to the food and drink, spirits and cosmetics sectors.

Temaco relies on a large-scale logistics network, with over 27,000 m² of storage capacity spread across several sites in France, enabling it to ensure proximity and responsiveness to its customers. With a workforce of around 40 employees, Temaco generates a turnover of over €30 million.

Founded in Nantes in 1929 and initially specialising in the manufacture of wooden barrels, followed by steel and stainless steel tanks, Fidel Fillaud gradually moved into the trading and distribution of packaging.

The acquisition of Temaco has significantly accelerated Next Pack’s strategy, bringing the group’s total to 350 employees, 18 branches in France, 100,000 m² of storage space, nearly 18,000 product lines and a turnover of €220 million.

Temaco brings recognised expertise in the agri-food and spirits markets, as well as a comprehensive product range and significant logistics capabilities.
