SOCIETEX CF has been exclusively appointed by the shareholders of SCGI and ASTUS to seek out strategic partners willing to support the companies’ next phase of development.

SCGI and ASTUS are two industrial companies based near Le Creusot (71), specialising in the manufacture of fabricated, mechanically welded and machined components.

The Group (SCGI + ASTUS) manufactures medium and heavy-duty custom-made metal components in small and medium production runs, primarily for the nuclear sector. The Group supplies clients such as Framatome, Westinghouse, Arabelle Solutions and Naval Group.

It is particularly distinguished by its ability to industrialise certain specific parts (e.g., turbine blades for General Electric produced in batches of 300 to 400 pieces).

Its operations are structured around three synergistic business units:

  • Stainless steel fabrication (SCGI): industrial fabrication, welding
    and finishing of metal parts;
  • 3D laser cutting and welding (SCGI): cutting and welding of metal parts
    up to 15m in length;
  • Machining (ASTUS): milling and turning of all types of metals.

The Group has 17 full-time equivalents (FTEs), spread across two production sites.
