Cognos Global Partners advises Opus Aerospace in securing investment to accelerate next-generation launcher development

We are delighted to announce that Cognos France acted as the strategic advisor for Opus Aerospace in its recent investment and industrial partnership with Fives Group. Opus Aerospace is a French NewSpace startup designing cutting-edge small and micro-launcher systems, including its sub-orbital Mesange vehicle and future “Sterne” orbital launcher (payload up to ~250 kg), and has signed a contract to launch from the Kourou spaceport in French Guiana in 2025.

Fives Group enters as an investor via a convertible bond (CB) financing and as an industrial partner, supporting Opus Aerospace’s growth, production capability and launch-service development. The partnership enables Opus Aerospace to accelerate its roadmap, scale its launcher manufacturing and reinforce its position in the rapidly evolving small-satellite launch market.
