Ninatrans

Seabird Capital (Cognos Spain) acted as financial advisor to Ninatrans, a leading logistics and transport operator, in its successful acquisition of the logistics firm Sealog.

The acquisition of Sealog S.A. enables Ninatrans to significantly enhance its logistics capabilities and distribution network, particularly in specialised and last-mile transport services, further strengthening its competitive position in the Iberian logistics market.

Based near Madrid, Sealog specialises in international transport for the automotive sector across Central Europe and operates a fleet of approximately 50 tractors and 70 trailers, supported by a 2,000 m² cross-dock warehouse facility. The strong geographical and operational fit between the two businesses is expected to generate meaningful synergies across the group.

The transaction supports Ninatrans’ strategy to expand its footprint in Southern Europe, broaden its service offering, and unlock new growth opportunities, including the potential development of air cargo transport activities in the Iberian region.

Seabird Capital managed the buy-side process, providing strategic analysis and supporting negotiations to ensure the successful integration of Sealog into the Ninatrans group.
