Cognos France / Societex, exclusive adviser to the transaction, announces the completion of the sale of Metal-X, a French company specialising in surface treatment and metal coating, to the holding company SNGB led by the buyers Sébastien Nucci and Guillaume Bouteyre, supported by Bpifrance, Sofimac (UI Investissement) and Mermoz Participations.

Founded in 1957 and based in the heart of the Arve Valley (Haute- Savoie), Metal-X carries out surface treatment of metals for manufacturers in the region, serving demanding markets: shearing and stamping, energy technologies and management, rail, aerospace and medical. The company specialises in complex, high value-added processes, making it a leading partner for the most demanding clients.

Metal-X relies on high-performance industrial facilities: 7 treatment lines, a modern 2,500 m² production site, an integrated R&D laboratory and optimised logistics supported by a dedicated fleet.

Employing around thirty staff and serving a portfolio of nearly 140 clients, the company generates a turnover of approximately €15 million.

Having developed and secured the long-term future of the company, Florence and Fabrice Grand are handing over Metal-X to two buyers with solid experience in the industrial sector, materials processing and the management of complex industrial projects.

Sébastien Nucci and Guillaume Bouteyre are committed to continuity: maintaining team stability, strengthening corporate governance and industrial, financial and commercial management, and continuing the company’s growth trajectory in promising markets.
