Flair Capital, the Danish member firm of Cognos, has advised Interiør A/S in the sale of a stake to Witt A/S

Interiør A/S, one of Denmark’s largest design retailers, sought a strategic partner to expand across Scandinavia, with a focus on online growth. Witt A/S, a leading Nordic distributor in kitchen appliances, electronics, and lifestyle products, is well-suited to support this ambition.

Janus Mortensen, who graduated with a degree in economics from Aarhus University in 2007, brought valuable experience as a furniture distributor in Scandinavia when he became the new owner of Interiør A/S on January 1, 2015. Upon taking over, he planned to launch a webshop for the company, which led to significant growth for the company. Based on the interest of being a larger company in Scandinavia and expand sales to Norway and Sweden, Interiør A/S seeked growth capital to this journey stemming from a strategic partner.

Flair Capital, led by Partner Søren Christiansen and Jakob Fuhr Hansen acted as lead advisors on the transaction which included assessing the strategic options for Interiør A/S, running a competitive process to identify suitable investment partners, negotiating investment terms and supporting the business through to a successful completion.
