iF Returns

The Spanish returns-management platform joins ReturnPro, the U.S. ReCommerce leader. The deal gives ReturnPro a European base for international growth and brings iF Returns’ technology to the U.S. market.

Cognos Spain / Seabird Capital advised the shareholders of iF Returns on the sale of the company to ReturnPro.

Founded in Spain, iF Returns is a leading European returns management system. It helps enterprise brands reduce refunds and keep revenue across multi-category, multi-warehouse and cross-border operations. The platform serves more than 200 brands internationally, including Desigual, Miroglio Group and Champion, and turns 30–40% of would-be refunds into exchanges and new purchases.

ReturnPro was co-founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Miami. It is the world’s leading ReCommerce partner, managing the full product journey from the start of a return through reverse logistics to recovery and resale. ReturnPro processes more than 45 million units a year and has recovered over $5 billion for its retail partners.

The deal combines iF Returns’ customer-facing returns technology with ReturnPro’s reverse logistics and recommerce operations. It gives ReturnPro a European platform for international expansion and brings iF Returns’ exchange technology to ReturnPro’s U.S. retailers and marketplace sellers.

Seabird Capital ran the sale process for iF Returns’ shareholders, including co-founders Galo De Reyna, Marcello Valerio and Paul Obando.
