Westbury Group Advises Georgia Jet on Sale of Air Ambulance, Charter and MRO Businesses

Westbury Group LLC, the U.S. member firm of Cognos Global Partners, has advised Georgia Jet LLC on the sale of its Air Ambulance, Part 135 Jet Charter and Part 145 Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations. The businesses are headquartered at Gwinnett County Airport (LZU) in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Georgia Jet has been a longstanding client of Westbury Group. The firm initially advised the company on the sale of its Air Ambulance business in 2019 and continued to support management through the subsequent divestitures of its Part 135 Jet Charter and Part 145 MRO operations, providing transaction advisory services across each stage of the company’s strategic exit process.

Founded in the mid-1980s, Georgia Jet has established a strong reputation for providing mission-critical aviation services, delivering air ambulance transport, private jet charter and aircraft maintenance solutions to customers throughout the Southeastern United States and beyond. Operating from its Lawrenceville, Georgia base, the company has been recognised for its focus on safety, reliability and responsive customer service.

The transactions mark the successful completion of Georgia Jet’s strategic divestiture of its core operating businesses and underscore Westbury Group’s experience advising founder-owned companies and aviation services businesses on complex M&A transactions.
