Cognos France supports Eurotranspharma as it continues to expand in Eastern Europe

Cognos France advises Eurotranspharma International in its expansion in Eastern Europe by acquiring Alex Transport International, a company active in temperature-controlled pharmaceutical transports, last-mile temperature-controlled delivery and international transport in Romania.

The French family company Walden, parent company of Eurotranspharma, a transporter of medicines and other health products, with a direct presence in 15 countries (Romania will be the 16th), is acquiring Alex Transport International, a Romanian temperature-controlled transport company founded by Alexandru Constantinescu in 1994.

Walden is one of Europe’s leading logistics groups in the transport and logistics of pharmaceutical and healthcare products (Movianto Eurotranspharma, Transpharma International) and sees this acquisition as a major growth opportunity in this region.
The Walden group has sales of €2.2 billion in 2022 and has recently extended its scope to Poland and the Czech Republic.
