Cognos France successfully advises on the sale of Amossys to Almond

Societex Corporate Finance, one of the French member firms of Cognos, helps Almond to significantly strengthen its cybersecurity service offerings, its teams and its presence in Western France. It now has around 400 experts and a turnover of nearly 60 million euros.

Created in 2007, Amossys is a consulting and expertise company in cybersecurity allowing companies and administrations to assess and improve the level of security of their information systems.

With more than 60 engineers who are experts in cybersecurity, Amossys supports a hundred customers from various sectors: defense & aerospace, public sector, health, banking, transport, telecoms, energy, etc. Amossys has a turnover of nearly 6 million euros.

Amossys is recognized as a major player in the evaluation of cybersecurity products. In particular, the company is the only independent evaluator approved by the French National Agency for the Security of Information Systems (ANSSI) to carry out security assessments as part of the First Level Security Certification (CSPN) and according to the Common Criteria (CC).
Almond, supported by the Apax Partners fund since 2021, has positioned itself as part of the process set up by Societex Corporate Finance.

Societex played a particularly important role in the process of handing over AMOSSYS, from the first phases of reflection (preparation of the file, suggestions on the entities to contact), throughout the process (organization of exchanges with candidates, advice on Q&A and construction of the data room) until the final sale. His professionalism was decisive in the success of the operation.
